You painted planets
On your fingers

When your freckles illuminate your cheekbone
Like stars
Against the thick darkness of your miles

Of skin
Visible light grows in your center
Radiates to the solar system on your surface
I can see dimensions hiding
In every speck of your brown eyes
I’ve seen you create
You are your own universe
Now here we are, together
Each touch glistening in the night sky
And our bodies ever expanding
I want you now
To paint me
Like the planets on your fingers
Know my body like the back of your hand
Infinitely memorized me your head
Stretch me as far as you will go
